How the stock boost gauge should be
Thats funny my girl was telling me the same thing. That the TURBO gauge should replace the LANCER logo on the cluster. I was wondering what was behind that LANCER logo. I thought it would be the whole cluster, therefore you wouldnt be able to put ne thing there. BUT GOOD LOOKING for the HEADS UP.
My guess is the Omori 45 mm boost gauge

I wanted to do this for a while and just got to finishing it. I liked that AFR monitor mod by sophiesleeps that was clever. Im thinking of trying to squeeze that in somewhere on the gauge cluster. My mods powerflex mm's(3 sets), buschur licp, ported coated exhaust manifold and ebay coated o2, works downpipe and +hfc, rnr exhaust and magnaflow muffler. Hallman MBC and BMC air filter drop in, and TTP ecuflash. Sort of a hog podge of parts but it feels solid. Very strong. Will be going to ams for a custom tune asap.

Thx again
it may be possible to mount the gauge in the cluster with minimal cutting, or at least without cutting the circuit board in back of the cluster. I'm trying to find an 05+ gauge cluster from a part out so I can get to work on the second one, and do a howto. The color matching is easy, the omori full color comes with a RGB control. You can have any color, but the needle is the redish you see. This is definately one of my favorite mods, just for the fun of seeing the boost gauge bounce around.
