It's not so much backwards, it's the WEIGHT. Newer cars are heavier as safety standards are increased, that VI is under 3000 pounds, fark the Evo III is 2700 pounds and does 0-60 in under 5 seconds, that was over a DECADE ago.

 

maybe the evo 11 will be a hard top removable converitible... take 60-100 pounds off the roof lol... maybe more

Actually, it's the track is not meant for an E9 standard. If you're talkiing about the power, E9 is more powerfull then the E6. but on winding road I notice the stock E9 is a bit tail happy compare to the primitive E6.

In Sepang track Malaysia, the TME was able to keep up on the corners but when we hit the straight. We would loose out to the 6 speed Evo 8MR and 9. Power & 6 speed shorter ratio compare to E6.
