Wicked White JDM Rear Bumper Warning

For those of you interested in getting a WW JDM rear bumper for your IX, hope you get one that matches. I have a IX, but the bumper didn't match (and I thought they only came in WW)! It is definitely NOT a slight difference. I know there is at least one more person that had this same color difference on their IX SE! Must be a bad batch...

But it sure looks good!

In the first couple it doesnt look bad and then you have the pic of the side from afar and it looks like garbage. that sucks major.

That's what I'm thinking, but then again, shouldn't they only be Wicked white since the bumpers were made for the IXs?

That is what happen when things are painted at different times. Different batch a paint. Just because there is a paint code with a formula dosent mean it is going to look exactly the same every time you mix it up. When I painted cars it was a 50/50 chance that when you mix up the paint on the code it would match exactly. We would have to adjust the formula to get a good match. Most of the time if the damage is far enoug from the next panal we could bleand it in. But if you have two panals that have differnt batches of base it is not going to match more times then not. White is one of the worst color to match. Because it dosent take much to change. To be honest I havent seen a Evo yet tha I did not see a differnce between the fenders and doors because of the fenders being alluminum and the doors are not. But I painted cars for so long I can see what most cant.
