Thats cool with the HID's, it'll transform the whole "look" of the car for sure..
The HID upgrade was one of the very first appearance mods I did to my car.
As for the Swift drop, I didnt notice lol...... maybe I'm blind still
had lasik surgery done, see 20/15 and I still miss some details
Anyway, I'm sure the drop looks good. The roads down in Florida are better than up here in NY anyway, so you can get away with having a lowered car...
I had to remove my front bumper and headlight assembly to install the bulbs and mount the ballasts... I couldnt find a way to wiggle the HID bulbs in w/o removing the headlight assembly, since there is no room to work back there... even with my skinny hands and karma sutra like flexibilty, I couldnt do it.
Just make sure you dont touch the glass on the bulbs, the finger prints on your hands/fingers can cause them to be damaged if you try to turn them on.... and I'm sure you knew this
Once they are installed, there is any need to adjust the headlights at all since they will pretty much aim perfectly, as long as you've never had any front end accidents.
Yellow cars look only look good on exotics with really sleek lines like a lamborghini or ferrari. Even then it will only really fit in as a showpiece. On the street any yellow car looks just plain tacky. I feel like im in manhattan looking at all the cabs going down the street.

I think Yellow on respectable, fast sports cars look real good
And yes I was in midtown manhattan once and several European tourists tried to jump in my EVO think I was a cab....
