voltex rear fenders

Before I decide to get a pair of these, I tried researching on how the "fitment" would be and such and I have read that to install these you would have to cut up your rear fenders?? Can anyone specify by what they meant by that? How easy (or hard) are these to install?

you should PM Speed Element or JonDemandsales. I'm pretty sure you have to cut your rears a tad and mold the voltex on.
