custom paint or horsepower?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

well deciding on 2 things to do very soon

A. built motor,ported head and intake mani,alky,spring & retainers
B. Top Secret Gold paint job

1.the evo right now is sanded down and primered ready for paint.
2.it has 418awhp on straight 92 right now,so i have decent HP.

so either paint the car and dont build motor just yet,or leave it primered and build 2.0L

P.S. any evo guys in hawaii chiming in dont bother ive heard it all before, blah blah blah this and that...stop hating ( if in hawaii and dont personally know me,message not for you)

heres a dyno vid to get a look at the car..(it has gunmetal with chrome lip volks now)

LOL... hating. What a joke.

I'd paint it... since I'd be embarrased to drive it around how it looks now. And has looked for months.

ya know one could tell its fast when its sitting in a parking lot, it would just look like a piece of crap car, leave the primered cars for the hatch backs and paint it ASAP!

kind of a tough call. normally i'd opt for the "all business" route and I even have a place in my heart for flat black paint, but primer is temporary and ghetto. since you have good power, paint it.

I would do a paint job and at least add alky so you can make a little more power.

for all my supplie ( paint, thinner, reducer, etc) was $511 and it was dupont paint...and my boys bro in law is hooking me up for $500...hes a actual painter too,not some guy looking for money..since i already sanded it down, and no body work needed
