Black on silver looks good!

 

I say save the money and get some other rims, VOLK, Advan, etc.... Unless you really like the stock rims then YES. Looks pretty good with the silver and black combo.

 

get some better rims and save the stocker for winter

 

I don't think you can make the wheels uglier, so I say do it.

 

I would get some new rims. I don't like the IX stockers that much.

Thanks for the comments guys...i was going to do this as my winter/ driving around setup....I am going to try to pick a set of Volk's or something in the spring/summer time....i really like this look though....it's really agressive. Thanks again guys.

 

I say yes. But new wheels like some volks or advans would be killer.

I am in the same boat...but with a 03 evo8. I was curious if anyone has done the stock rims in black (clear coated also) with the red "ralliart" style lip, on a silver evo?? Any pics you guys know of?
