Thumbs down

I sent the pics to Subydude so he could rehost them.

As far as my car goes....... I don't think I'll ever get it back from the dealer........

How long does it take to do a head gasket?????? A week max, right??? They've had my car for a 6 weeks now....... I got frustrated with them today and fussed the service guy out. All he could say is "We'll call u when its done". I went and saw my car last saturday and it was almost done then...... Head bolted down, intake manifold on, vacumm lines on, turbo and manifold on....... WTF is taking so long???? My head was sent off to make sure it was ok and that only took 2 days. He keeps telling me he'll try to get the mechanic dedicated to my car...... WTF ever!

DON"T EVER TAKE YOUR CAR TO RICK CASE MITSUBISHI OFF OF SATELLITE BLVD IN DULUTH, GA FOR ANYTHING!!!!

Oh yea, I guess I should tell u that my car was misdiagnosed the first time and they had my car for a week that time and made my pay them $220 for them to tell me nothing was wrong with my car...... Oil mixed in with the coolant..... Hmmmm....... Sounds like a blown head gasket to me, but them ***tards couldn't get that right on the first time around. So then 3 weeks pass by and my coolant is sludged up again and now this is where I'm at........

^^That sucks man! Dealers suck. They know how to sell cars, not how to fix them.

I need more pics and tire specs people!!!

I am seriously thinking of just growing some ***** and buying some bronze ones with 245/40/18 RT-615s....

Just so you guys know, but if you plan to maintain the same diameter as the 17's, you're going to want 265/35 profile which is within a tolerance of ±0.01".

Figured I'd post a couple more pics that I took tonight. I know TURBevO8 was asking me for some full car shots at an angle showing more of the wheel. However the weather has been quite ****ty for the past two weeks so the car hasn't left the garage. I've stated the specs before but for those that missed it, they're Hyper Silver 18x9.5 30mm w/ Toyo T1-R 255/35 tires. I'm running 5mm spacers up front right now but clearance to the caliper is just a little too close for comfort. So I'm going to change them out for 8mils. No spacers on the rear and no fender rolling at all four corners.

The first day I put the rims on, I did some full lock to lock turns to check and couldn't hear any rubbing. I later checked the linings to see if there was any contact and there was none that I could tell.

Sick!! Thanks so much for the pics. Now I just need to decide what color I want and tire size. This probably wont happen for me for a while but it is nice to gather all info BEFORE ordering. haha. Some people dont do that.

Also, is that the JDP Engineering lip? I want that thing so bad!

Nice!

Can't wait to get mine. I ordered a set of these in royal black.

Hmanevo,

How close to the front calipers are we talking about with 5mm spacers, 1-2mm or less clearance?

Oh, and you confirmed 255's can fit without a fender mod.

Actually I got the lip off ebay. It's the same one Drifto posted about in his thread(https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=248187). I'm more than happy with it. Great quality and the fitment was perfect as well as the price was very affordable.

I would say less than 1mm clearance with the 5mm spacers. It's very tight. Under hard braking I could actually hear the calipers making slight contact. I could have sworn some people had got away with 5mm spacers running these wheels in the 30mm offset. I however would recommend 8mm as a minimum requirement.

I love these wheels. Once it comes time to replace my rubber, I'll probably be buying a set of these rims. I just have a few questions for those who have these rims... 1.) Is anyone running tein s-techs and these rims? If so, do you have any issues with rubbing, or did you have to roll your fenders? If you are runnig s-techs, what size of rims/tire/offset did you use to clear the fenderwell? 2.) Is there a picture of a BBY one out there with these rims in BLACK? (besides the one in the Photoshop forum) If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it! thanks.

Exclamation

Ok, so finally after fussing out the service advisors and service manager I got my car back today from the dealer. They did a quick wash but nothing worth posting. I'll fully detail it tomorrow.

Also....

I'll have pics up tomorrow along with all the specs. All I have to say is that my car looks better than I imagined. I have gotten nothing but compliments since I got my car back. Everyone thinks it's a sick setup! Thanks Joe and Zoeb @ Subydude.com.

Well it seems that 255/25 fit awesomely with stock suspension without rolling which is great to know for you peeps running that setup still! For you guys with coilovers, not an issue since you will prolly want to run lower so fender rolling will be in order, but you can get that extra clearance you need with negative camber. Awesome pics guy. Silver on silver looks badass!

I agree that 245 dont look right on these rims but I didn't have to roll any fender. It's sitting on Tein Basic Coilover and I did have to raise the car a little bit from being dropped to its lowest because my front wheels were rubbing on the plastic part in the wheel well. I have very miner rubbing in the front now only when I turn into my driveway and street driving is fine. I have 5mm spacers up front but would recommend 8mm and the offset is 30

very close to rubbing the plactic part when i turn my wheel
