Rota P45R Wheel thread!!
Alright guys, I know this has been brought up a billion times, but I haven't found the answer for the what I'm looking for. I'm wanting to know before I order these wheels, if they will fit my car for sure.
I'm looking at getting some 18x9.5 +30mm offset Rota P45R's, in either Hyper Black or Sport Bronze, for my Lightning Yellow Evo.
I will be running 255/35/18 Dunlop Direzza Z1's and stock suspension. I do not plan on lowering my car. I know I will have to run a 8mm spacer up front and do extended lug studs.
I've read so many different posts that say I will have to roll my fenders, and others that say I will not have to roll my fenders
What I want to know, is if this setup will require rolling of the rear fenders on stock suspension?????
Thanks guys,
Scott

These are probably my favorite wheel for an evo... unfortunately I think many of the wheels ppl put on evo's look like crap
but thats just my opinion.

I just bought it in 18x9.5 same tires but 245/40 on stock height and it rubs in the front but not really on the back although if I go on a speed bump, it seems like it bounces in the rear hitting something but it could be my shocks going out x.x I didn't need any spacers for front tires also as it clears the brembo brakes well. Offset is +22
My results are.......... No rubbing up front at all on stock height. In the rear no rubbing anywhere unless you have a trunk full of luggage, or are riding people in the back (only rubs over bumps at speed.)
I was bored and wanted an optional look, so i got a set of ROTA P45R's 17x9 +25 and some TOYO Proxes tires 255/40/17
Need to do a little fender rolling just in case, and maybe a tad raise on the rear CO's.
Still have my 2 sets of oem BBS for the track with A048's , so I can always go back and forth.

Thanks to WheelDude (Dan/Zoeb) for a great Price on them.

Are you using and spacers up front to clear the brembos? If so what size? Did you end up having to roll the rears?
