Ok guys im getting a Lip for my IX MR:




I either want a SE lip /w some custom paint like the paint on my hood...something like this(painter will wanna touch it up)



or get the APR carbonfiber... but with my onyx black hood im not sure how it will look...

Just got home and did a quick chop of the FRP ARP lip /w the paint sheme i want... basicly it follows the body lines on the lip so the center is painted black.. like my hood.. tell me what you think(also each line will have a pinstrike just like my hood)

i've seen the apr lip and its really nice. that what you should go with. SE lip is just lip a stock lip to me.

Look through the "Show and Shine" there's a member that had one of the E-Bay lips for his VIII. The vendor is in the process of making one for the IX at a reasonable price. This is a very nice looking piece with all the mounting holes, at a great price.

 

That is a tough one, but if you decide to go SE, let me know, I still have 2 left

 

Id go with the non-carbon APR lip, that way it'll be black.

 

I think the APR would definitely set off the front end of your car. Also the Greddy Gracer lip is very nice as well.

Seems like you have a lot of options. Good luck, and either way it will look hot!

I would stick with a black painted lip for you car to match your hood. Either an all black SE or painted frp version of the APR lip. I prefer the Ralliart lip for the IX, but I dont' think it's available in frp. I have the c/f Ralliart lip on my WW RS.

 

keep the stock lip and paint it.

 

Yeah i was thinking about that... i really want it all to flow... thats why if i have to have my painter paint the SE lip might as well tie a theme in with the hood...

i think a painted SE lip would look better. it would flow nice with ur hood. and i saw ur post before when you painted it, but didnt comment for some reason. i just wanna say that i love it.

 

Get the fiberglass APR lip and paint to match your hood. It's cheaper than the carbon one.
