Just Installed My Custom Panel

I had a custom panel made for me to accomodate my turbo timer and boost gauge. I relocated my radio to where the "cubby" used to be. This is a prototype of what will be offered to anyone who wants one.

Mine is a one off.

The production panel will accomodate 3 60mm gauges or 3 52mm gauges.

Who here would be interested in this?

Very Interested! I'm not too thrilled about sticking my turbo timer to my steering wheel. If it can be nicely integrated into the dash like that, it would be super trick.

The guy who made it for me isn't quit ready to do a full production run of panels just yet. He has quit a few projects going on at the same time. You can contact him at craigharde@hotmail.com

I know it's been mentioned elsewhere (for other pods), but how about adding some tight shaping to allow the guages to be faced slightly towards the driver? That would make this really interesting to me.

that would look nicer if you had a turbo timer and line a apex'i fuel mgmt box in there too, the one box by itself leaves way too much unused space that doesn't look quite right... maybe if it was one of the apex'i tt's... they take up more room... just my .02

You should make a custom panel that comes out further at the top and accomadates a 7" LCD screen.

There is a guy on clubwrx.net that sells and even mounts the screen to this kind of plastic piece, but in the WRX, I think he charges around $350 for the screen mounted with a glass plate in front of it.

Anyway, if there was a plastic piece like this that his screen would fit in, I bet he would do the same for the EVO!!!

You just need a $600 dvd/cd head unit like the one the picture below to go with it.

This picture is one of his screens installed:

OK, I'd be interested if 3 gauges could be tilted toward the driver and the price isn't too bad...
