I could be wrong but I think the double sided tape you used is a bit too thick..its visible in the pictures.

The FRP one we received didnt come with any tape.
I believe we used 1.2mm 3M adhesive on the top side. Just thought I let you know on it because if the gap is too big you dont want air to get under that thing and rip it off during high speeds.

Thank GOD you have a CF trunk...I can't understand why people are ordering the CF version on a non CF trunk, it just doesn't look right. Anyway can't wait to see some more pics, seeing a wingless evo always puts a smile on my face epecially ala Mines!!
