is it possible to split the taillights and do the same thing to them?
its not the same glue as it was on the head lights

Looks great, the problem with the tailights is that they are molded together. You would need to dremel them apart (carefully) rather than heating them up and splitting them. I know honda-guy has done them to his and did a write up as well.
