Evodave headlights and colored projectors with pics

A few months ago, Dave started advertising that he could change the colors of the projector housings to green/blue/purple/yellow, any color. so i figured that now is a good time to send my heads to him because i have always liked the purple color of jdm projectors but didnt wanna pay the price. i recently traded another user on here my VII tails for his stock IX tails. so i asked Dave if he could paint my headlight housings a nice glossy black to match the IX tails. along with that i left the directional area chrome and had him make the projectors purple. here's the outcome:

**note- i dont drive the evo during winter cus my area uses salt like it grows on trees, so im blocked in my garage by a giant mound of snow so i had to take pics inside the garge in a pretty tight space...i can take some better pics in a few weeks. oh, and my camera is old and sucks

sorry for every pic being at the same angle, but i had no other choice. btw my low beams are NOT on in any of the pics, its just the flash that makes them look that way. the purple projectors dont change light output at all, as far as i can tell, but they look damn good. oh, and im in the process of getting some turn signal bulbs that are silver, but still glow as amber, just so u cant see the amber color when theyre not on.
for those of u considering sending your heads or tails to dave, it is a worthy invesment. his prices are very fair, quality of work is top notch, and dave is an easy guy to deal with - easy to reach and he spent a lot of time talking with me about what exactly i wanted done. he even called me the night he finished them to tell me how good the purple looked...he hadnt done projectors in purple yet so we were unsure of how they would look. also, the time from when i sent them from my house to when i got them back was only about 2 weeks. and i told dave he could take his time and finish other peoples stuff before mine since im not driving the evo now. so, nothing but good things to say about dave's quality of work and customer service. the headlights look great and im eager to see them outside of my nasty garage.

they actually seem to have a blueish green tint to them, sorta like a teal.

Na, the light output is the same (or should be) because its just the cutoff shield in the projector that is painted w/e color you want...

You do amazing work,i think everything you do looks great. A lot of things are not for me as i,m gonna be 50 in may and have outgrown a lot of that stuff. But i still admire excellent work.Keep it up for when i go into my third midlife crisis. (LOL)
