has anyone painted the silver faces on the locks in the doors and in the trunk. I run a TB and the damn locks are silver? I havent had them apart yet, but are they a standard lock set with a c-like clip on the inner side of the door. pop it out then i can paint them? any suggestions on the paint as well//

thx.

I can see why you did this one. I had a look this morning and it looks pretty strait forward to get out. Now for the color black one should use? HMMMMMMMM.

At first I was thinking that the paint on the lock cylinder would et all scratched up....then I thought, duh, keyless entry...haha

This might look really good. You could just use a flat black and put a layer or two of clear on it....I might do this this weekend.

That was a concern of mine too, then i thought the same thing as you, I never use the key in the door or the trunk.
