Proton is Malaysian owned company - Lotus is a subsidiary of Proton and doing all Proton's R&D and R3 is the racing division of Proton. CT230R with NOB Taniguchi were here in Sepang SIC and made impressive timing of 2min 8 sec at Sepang SIC. However CT230R blown it's engine on the second lap and only to find its timing to be beaten by Proton R3 lotus by 1 second.
