Its a great conversion nonetheless, but somehow the rims just don't cut it for me. Maybe a set of OZs?

I somehow missed this until now. Great work! I'm very impressed. The losers that have to give you a hard time about it are chumps that are too big of pansies to even think about attempting something like this.

Good job tackling a project like this on your own with little experience. My hats definitely off to you. I think it looks excellent.

So it's been quite along time since I updated this thread mainly because I'm so busy with school haha The paint job has held up pretty good for what it is. More recently i added some 272 cams, metal headgasket, some porting, balance shaft eliminator. I'm still running the stock 16g at 20psi, untuned at the moment. I'm planning on buying ostrich and using tunerpro rt for realtime tuning, mainly because it is cheap and i can tune it very specifically. As it sits, i can keep up with evo's that run 11.6 so i think thats pretty good haha

as for pictures, i haven't really taken any in a very long time, sorry! Ill get some more of it but its pretty much the same as two years ago.

Come again?

You are running 20psi on the stock ECU?

I have to reread this thread. I have a fully built engine and am scared to turn past 16psi.

Yep 20psi on the stock 16g with stock block, it only has a 1.3mm cometic headgasket and it holds up just fine. It runs rich though due to no tune. What are you running?

Well I was running 11psi for the longest but put in a Walbro 255 and have upped it abit to 15psi.

Still on Stock 3 ECU I swapped in with the engine.

I ran a 13.5@ 101 on the 11-12psi spike so I expect to do alot better on the 15.
I tried to install and EGT that was reading I thought quite high preturbo, but it stopped working so I may have installed it incorrectly.

I'll let you know the improvement next week if the clock is up at the track when I go.

How do you know the car is running rich? YOu have a wideband or EGT? Also what grade of gas are you running?

I'm using 93 octane, i can tell its running rich by the nice black smoke screen i leave behind when i got WOT haha my friends are usually the ones that suffer from it haha what do you use to tune yours?

I am not using anything yet...

There are others around with Halteks and I know a tuner who would hook me up with an EMS.

Last question I need to know is did you upgrade the injectors.
I think the stock ones on the 3motor are around 510CC injectors. The Evo 1's were in the 400CC range.
