Well, he we went on a break in drive. I was faster, of course, 'cuz I could rev higher. But the STi pulls like sick. The Evo has better cornering. Overall, I liked Evo better... Oh yeah, his tires smelled like **** when he skidded

 

Over here in VA they marked up the sti to $38,000

 

My friend got it for 36K. Plus tax and registration... about 40-41K

 

that's the tire's way of saying... why are you skidding?

The STI is SICK!! I LOVE the scoop, but I HATE the wing. I dunno it kinda looks like it was just slapped on there whereas the EVO's looks like it belongs. JMO.

 

Update on my friend. He crashed his car about a week ago, taking 3 other friends. His whole right side is dented in, lost the front right lights and his fender. The left side is a bit dented too. Basically, he launched the car after a tight left and he lost control. Headed for a curve, swerved, ran into a parked car, spun out, hit a tree and then hit a wall. No serious injuries. Everyone got minor bruises. One of them (front passenger... go figure) had to get stitches. They're taking MRI's to check for internal damage tho. Besides that, everything's fine, except the car. I believe this is the first STi crash. Estimates of 10-15K in damages, not including payment to the other car's owner and the city (for the tree & wall)

 

Enough said.
