thats a great piece, but how about when you put the car on the dyno to get tuned or something... is the tow hook covered? will the straps hit the diffuser during a pull?? something to think about i guess...

but i think they can connect to lower control arms no?

yeah i know, but even then when the *** of the car comes down when doing a pull it might put a lot of pressure on the straps and maybe crack the CF... so you need at least those 4 points to harness the rear end of the vehicle...Specially an evo, i seen evo's break straps and it's not fun...

im not trying to hate, i don't even own an Evo anymore! HA!
Great piece though, good alternative to the full 9 Bumper (gotta luv that crash bar!)

well,

we use the inner control arms, to limit leverage on them. using an axle strap keeps the hook and such away from any important parts.

and then hook on the center of the rear sway bar...

and put some pads on the straps where they are near the diffuser... works fine.
