It's called common courtesy. That's the problem with this board, it is severely lacking in courtesy. Nothing wrong with having an opinion, but damn some people think that being behind a keyboard gives them free reign to say whatever they choose.
why are you acting like this? you already said it. you cant blame other people if theyre opinion is a bit harsh, its totally normal. when i see a clean looking car, i give the right comment it deserve, meaning i would do the same if i see a car that i think is ugly.

edit: in this case, i dont like the new paint but i also dont think its butt-ugly, thats why my only comment about it is "blackout head/taillights"...btw, i bet if a bunch of people are hating on someones car in person and you are there, you wouldnt have the ***** to say something to defend your "common courtesy" just like when you said "but damn some people think that being behind a keyboard gives them free reign to say whatever they choose".

When I first looked at the first picture quickly, I was like "Wow! That looks great!".

Then I noticed the flames.. or swirls.. or sparkler marks.. or whatever the hell they are.

The color itself is sweet... but whatever those crazy designs are on it, they look awful... straight out of the Fast and the Furious...

If you take it to NOPI no doubt you will win something...

Off the hook? We have told you many times that personal insults are not allowed, yet you are racking up points like a pinball machine.

It really is simple; these forums are open to discuss topics concerning our cars within the context of the rules. More lea-way is given in the OT forums but open does not mean the right to say what one pleases. Either figure out how to post without insults and confrontational comments (within the rules) or leave. Thanks.

I'm not acting like anything. I'm simply saying it's fine to have an opinion but it's not cool to be an a$$hole about it like your opinion is better than anyone elses.

ok...so the way i understand this. giving a comment such as "thats horrible looking car" a better way to say "thats gay"
Im not too sure about the limit of what people are allowed to say when it comes to negative things...

I understand. but maybe its best if you would also understand that people have their own words on saying things. Im on your side about giving negative comments. I also dont like insulting other people's car(as much as possible) i try to say it out loud before i even type it so it will be less harsh. im sure they'll learn what youre saying in real life because im sure being an @$$holes wil have an effect to them from other people

Take some time to read a few of his previous posts. After you have finished; let me know if you are still confused. Thanks.

Nah I get it. But a lot of members here seem to run off at the mouth (proverbial) before their brain filters the words. It's too easy for them to just blurt out something on keyboard knowing that there are no real repercussions. Some of the stuff people say on here would get a fist in their face in most neighborhoods. Unfortunately people take too many liberties with the annonymity of internet.

It only shows the true maturity level of those who are instantly judgemental with bias. I will never tell someone else that his car is ugly or call him stupid for his decisions. If a response was really required I would rather say "I don't like it" or "I would have done something different". It doesn't make me any less of a man, nor does it make me weak. Everyone has a vision of what they like in cars. It doesn't make it wrong, doesn't make it right, but it makes it theirs. An no one on here has the authority or right to tell them it's wrong.

Ya see, I can get my point across without being an a$$hole about it. It's called tact...and more people on here should learn what it is and employ it. It doesn't make you less of a man. Unless of course you already have something to be worried about? *speculation*
Relax, don't get all bent on subjectivity. This the internet and not real life. Deal with it. We are free to express our opinion here. Like what I said earlier, an opinion is not fact, so there is no reason to get upset.

If someone told me my car is ugly I would not care, because that's his or hers opinion. The only opinions that should matter is your own on you own possesions and you own life.
