Well I don't understand the ricey comment....

I was going to black, but EVERY red evo has black. I didn't want that. Besides that black really doesn't match anything else on my car.

I thought about red, for a long time, it came out great and looks way better in person.

The paint is from paintscratch.com.....color matching.

Looks like it has pink eye I'll have to agree on the "ricey" aspect of it...makes it seem too childish.

It's hard to pull off color matched headlights...I'd leave that to black cars .

Bought the paint at www.paintscratch.com. No sanding, just cleaned the chrome with Simple Green and water. You do as many coats as it takes to cover it.

mabee one of these days i can come over and we can make a project of mine. i need to get mine done soon. thought about coming over to hang out today but need to go to work early in the morn.

I think they look great. Way better than the chrome. I agree with your comment on the black as everyone has them. Maybe it's my eyes, but the color looks like it matches to me.
I had evodave do mine in BBY about two years ago and have never regretted it.
