The car looks so smooth through that configuration!

What's been your best time in the past on the 2.2 config? Have you done the 2.2 on street tires in the past, or just r-comps?

Nils! Man … I've been soooo damn busy with work and the little guy. I need to get out there for sure … I just don't know when I can. It's going to start getting hot as Hades soon, too.

dcorn - car is in street class right now, has to be 140 treadwear rating or higher, the RE-o1R tires I am using for that class only comes up to 265 width.. usually for r comps we run 275's... about as big of a tire you can run on this car without a widebody kit or crazy body work.

I see. Well why run such a wide wheel then? Do you switch tires on the same wheel constantly?

When you stretch the tire it helps stop the sidewalls from flexing during hard cornering. It also increases steering response.

If you look at the pics again the car is under severe load in the turn. If the car were stationary or traveling in a straight line you'd find the tire to wheel relationship just fine.

Looks like I know what color I'll be painting my winter wheels. Do you happen to know exactly what shade of orange that is?

275 on a 9.5" wheel sounds about right to me.

Car looks good, great driving and video!
Ps: Was the camera hitting on the roll bar or something? I heard that rattling noice at the beginning of the lap.
