I took it to the dealer and I lucked out. They took some pictures, sent them to a Mitsu factory rep. for review, and I just got the call from the dealer that Mitsu will replace it completely. I'm now just waiting for it to come in.. Great guys over there..

I'm kind of worried about how much newer the shade of black will look on the wing fillets when compared with the rest of the car. I believe I'm in for quite a wax job when I get back to NJ for the summer...

damn sucks man, if u get to keep it when the dealer replaces it i may be interested in buying it.

 

If warranty doesn't cover it, take it too a shop that makes/molds carbon fibre, they can refinish it. My friend took his wing to a local shop and had it fixed for cheap.

warranty will cover it, i'm close to 57000 miles with the extended warranty, but I don't think that matters.. Either way, it's a free replacement which is amazing.

...and no I'm not sayign it caused your clear coat to peel. You let it wait a looong time..

 

Yeah I think you should have said something to Mitsu as soon as it started to peel, thats just crazy. Glad I garage mine.
