My new shift knob (am i the only 1?)

anyways i found this shift knob off the AMS website, its called the hammer, its a 2g dsm shift knob but it weighs 1 pound.....i had to do a little customizing to get this to fit right but its an awesome shifter....i love it way more than the greddy knob I used to have and this makes shifting much smoother. look at post 9 for an updated pic!

http://www.amsperformance.com/store/...roducts_id=483

and did i menton its a damn good price?

heres a few pics

I have one also. Got it from MachV. The original aluminum knob was too small. My fingers were always touching the shifter boot.

A little modification and it works great. I think it was designed for the 3000 GT.

I will look for a photo and update this post.

This picture is not that good but it will give you the idea...

I see your reasoning behind the heavy shiftknob, but not feelin the over all look. Looks may not be what your after, but in my venture of finding a "heavy" shiftknob, I went with the GReddy counterweight shifknob. Feel is awesome, and def a noticable feature. And it's not expensive
