So total he spent around 25K which is my guess unless he bought the car used.
Only sixty legal Evo 8's in this country and they are rare as hell so I can understand why he spent that kind of money. 10K isnt bad if you think about it...not something I would do but he does look happy driving it
Thats not too bad of a price. Here is the break down of what our Evo's at home used to cost (brand new in the year released):

Evo 4: $50k
Evo 5: $55k
Evo 6: $60k
Evo 7: $65k
Evo 8: $70k
Evo 9: $80k

Notice a trend here? . That guy still did a lot of work though. Kudos to him would have tricked me easy . On the IC thing, I know people at home that do the same thing...we call them "interfoolers" .

thats def an evo, because anyone doing the conversion would never buy 2 new rear 1/4 panels and have them welded on to achieve the look. If anything they would convert the whole front end, etc... It must be a different guy you spoke to. I cant believe someone who cut off their rear 1/4 panels, weld on new ones and have basically the whole car repainted.

And also add a rear wiper? thats just silly little details that people dont do

Well I guess the only way to solve this issue is to track him down and get an engine shot derek . I would say though if he was dedicated he could have done it...look around on the net for the NSX->F50 conversion that one guy did...

OP I know you have over 4k posts and all, but that is an Evo. This thread should be closed until further evidence is provided.
