No car manufacturer would ever release body panels made from fiberglass. They'd have so many damn warranty claims about cracked and broken this and that. Your 1 piece bumper is NOT oem. Sorry if you thought it wasn.

Yup..lol...this is a APR Performance product that I've been pushing them to produce for over 8 months! OEM shape and look....evo IX....with the lip attached.. I have deal wih 20 seperated lips for every cracked lip....that said you can break anything...this is done in Fiberglass= lip and bumper for only a few (200) $$'s more than the lip alone....

It comes with a lip too lol already attached. Mitsubishi now endorses road racing and makes the oem bumper with the lip one piece.

LoL dun get too excited calling other people stupid buddy. The bumper you ordered is not a mitsubishi product. It is an AFTERMARKET front bumper made by using a mold of the oem front IX bumper with an APR lip attached. Its oem styled but definitely not oem. All OEM mitsu bumpers are made out of urethane and the bumper you just ordered is made out of fiberglass. ALL oem mitsu bumpers are made by mitsu... your apr bumper is made by APR.

You saying that your bumper is oem is like me saying that my chargespeed trunk is oem because it was made off an oem mold. If whoever you bought it from told you that the apr bumper was an oem piece. You were either mislead or you misunderstood. Chances are, you misunderstood.

But still, the OP's bumper is definitely not OEM. OEM style, maybe, but not OEM.

Thats what I did, I just got the lip version 'cause I don't trust a whole bumper of FRP.
