Wow, thanks for the props Doug. I'm def glad that I could help. Mine is far worse than yours, and I can't even get mine warrantied , that's ok though, I did just get 4 brand new Brembo's, so I suppose I can't complain .

Now, just to clear a few things up, and to answer a few questions I saw. First off, I am currently no longer with Walpole Mitsu, I actually jumped ship to a much larger Mitsu dealership (Westboro Mitsubishi (508)366-8889), where I will be doing MUCH more than I was at Walpole. But until my vendor status is up, I can't say anymore.

To answering some of the wing questions. There is a bulletin on this from Mitsu. It is true that both the 8 and the 9 wings do only come in painted WW. So in Doug's case, I had it sent to a very reputable body shop, and had it paint matched BBY.

As for the whole, "well, I want a 8 wing not a 9 wing!", basically where it would be a warranty issue, the service manager/tech have to order according to a serial number under the wing (where it mounts to the trunk). But to "bust any myths", there is no 9 month wait on either wing, and both are readily available.

To anyone local with the wing issue, you are more than welcome to PM or contact me with your vin, and I can check your warranty, and if it is in fact still covered, I can make it just as easy as Doug said it is.
