nice pics man. what settings did you use when you shot the golden gate bridge from the underside facing south....with the rock on the left side. also, what route did you take to get to the top of the hill when you took the high shot?

i can't remember what road to take to get up there. i've been waiting for a foggy day to shoot a pic of the GG bridge towers poking out of the top of the fog.

I ran the camera in aperture mode. Not sure of the exposure time in terms of seconds, I would estimate in the range of 30-45 seconds. I take the last exit before the golden gate coming from Sacramento, according to Google maps it looks like I take the Sausalito Lateral Rd exit from 101. Then turn right on Conzelman. Then there are 3 spots up that road for some good shots. If you didn't know, if you keep going up that road, it turns into Pt. Bonita. Amazing drive, and cool sites...

BTW, I was hoping for fog as well...

If you have a program to resize it's really easy.

If you use photobucket, it will automatically resize it 800x600 if you choose that dimension. That's if you don't have a program to resize on already...

Should be a function in the camera to take a smaller picture.

Great pixs...the car looks really clean. As for the Golden Gate pics from the San Rafael side...one of those things I took for granted while I lived there, but really miss now that I'm gone.

Yup, lived in SF my whole life, but have never explored the other side of the Bridge.

It was a very nice trip. Usually I just get in and out os SF. This time I spent the whole day there, it was great. I finally got to see the city a little. It was nice, I didn't need any directions, and I had no set time schedule. One of the best days I've had in a long time. Don't think I could live there, different pace of life. But I love going there for the day...

You need to get out man. I can't wait to get back and go see some new sites. I need to get out to Alcatraz...
