I was in the process of mounting my IX rear bumper and was suprised by the amount of rust when I took off the bumper. I was wondering if its necessary to buy some spray paint specifically for dealing with rust, or can I just hit it with some regular silver paint?

get a grinder and take the rust out and before you add paint use primer
