Reccomend me a 2 or 3 step polish kit
I am repairing a 5 inch scratch and i need a stagged polish kit. I figure i will use it next time i wax, so I want to add some to my collection of detailing prodcts. Ive heard good things about poorboys. Also Autopia had their Sonus SFX 1,2,3 products that look good. I just wanted some of your feedback, experiences, ect. What do you guys like?
I love poorboys products. Ive tired nothing better. There probably are better products, but for the price and quality i love em. I used some of their light scratch remover on a friends car with just an orbital polisher and it worked great. How deep is the scratch though?
Deep, down into the primer. Some a-hole tried to cout hanger his way into my car and ende up chipping my window and leaving this scratch. I just put the GG touchup on it. Im going to let it dry overnight before i get at it with some more 2000 grit.
Where is a good place to buy poorboys products online? Any place that sell it as a packaged deal? I dont think i need the 4th step, looks to be just a cleaner wax.

Are you going to use a rotary or a pc or hand? Poorboys is good stuff, works well in the sun but can dust a little bit (not an issue when you're working on your own car but when you're doing paid details it adds a little to the clean up process). I personally like Optimum Compound and Optimum Polish because they are very user friendly, also can work in the sun, have a long work in time and don't dust. If you have the extra cash though Menzerna has polishes that can really get out some tough swirls and scratches and really finish like no other.
Going to do this scratch repair by hand. But i have a cheap random orbital i use for applying wax. I will be using this unit for applying polish in the future, when polishing the whole car.
