does the full piping kit require a mini battery?

how is the lag, gain, feel after install?

Haha yeah the Mazdaspeed Protege SMIC upgrade is not the biggest cooler in the world, but it gets the job done for them

Does the 4" require any trimming of the bumper support?

The 4" intercooler will require you to either trim or remove your bumper beam. The 3" and 3.5" are a direct bolt-on installation without any mods at all.

Our intercoolers will all bolt right up to all stock replacement (and stock) intercooler piping so you would be good to go!

We have both a short route UICP and stock battery UICP so you can have it set up either way you like

I'll say from experience on my EVO that spoolup was quicker and transient response even snappier after install of the complete kit, but encourage the OP to comment as well!
