Anyone put accessories on there EVO?
I have most of the blue aluminum parts on.
I don't have the canards installed but from what I hear they require holes in your bumper cover for screws and they also have double-sided tape (which in my mind makes hem hard to remove for winter).

Not the best photo but you can see some of the stuff. I don't have the pedals on yet and I'm debating if I like the gauge surround.
The shift knob feels great and it gives just enough weight to make the shifting feel quicker and with shirter throws. I like the blue stuff since the entire car is black and it matches the seat inserts...however the jury is still out on the gauge surround.
I can say the blue aluminum shift knob and e-brake handle get really hot in the sun....and I mean REALLY hot. I park at work in the sun and you literally have to grab a gear and get your hand off it for the first few minutes of driving. I'm sure I can cover it on hot days but so far I haven't.
I also have a wink mirror installed to hold my radar detector which is great for driving.

After receiving the parts (when they were not on the car yet) I thought they wouldn't look good. They seemed small. After installing them I thought they looked great especially on a black car with the blue seat inserts...they also feel great especially the shifter. I was surprised how good they DO look. The gauge surround is OK...not sure if I'm keeping that on but for now I like it. The blue pedals are on the way so we'll see what they are like.
EVO8 I'd like to see more photos of the air deflectors if you have a picture from the front or further away. I didn't think I'd like them but in your first photo I think they look ok.

I will take a few more pictures and post them later. It's not the look of them that is so cool, it is how they function. It is hotter than blazes here in Texas. If I leave my windows rolled up all day, my car is like 180 degrees inside, no kidding. With the side window air deflectors, I can leave the windows rolled down about one inch and it makes SO much difference. Doesn't matter if it starts raining either. I guess they look OK too...
I bought the air ducts for the brakes and the cargo net....the gauges I returned because of where they are located in the car. It seemed stupid to have them located so low and off to the side so that you have to totally take your attention away from the road to check your boost.
Thanks Evo8...I'm curious to see how they look form the front. I can see how they would help. We've had some extreme heat here in the last few days and I hesitate to even leave the sunroof up on tilt in case it rains.
I debated the gauges also and decided not to do it becaus eof the price when where they are located. I also wasn't sure how that worked with the 6-CD changer that I got with the car but didn't receive yet.
I have the cargo net and lug locks coming with the blue pedals. I liked the net in my last car and even tried saving it to use in the EVO but there weren;t any good attach points. I'll be curious to see how the EVO net attaches.
I'm still debating the canards but I think I'd prefer a splitter or air dam/splitter that I can take off for winter.
I'm also debating the hypergound cables. The price is too high and I don't want to get a non-factory set because of warranty concerns.
What are the air ducts like and where exactly are the gauges installed?

I don't care what accessories you put on as along as it doesn't become rice. I have already heard of an EVO w/ windshield lights. Any more slipups and some one will get their evo taken to away and theior *** kicked. just kidding. But seriously, DONT DO IT
