My question is, are my rims going to be a problem on the road since it's not CNC'd right? When I test the rim only 3 out of 5 spokes hit my Calipers and it was installed right and tightened right.
Please advise Wheeldude! thanks

So, I put my wheels on last night with the Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Spec tires. I noticed this morning when I was leaving for work that when I turned the wheel beyond a certain point that the front tires would run on the plastic piece inside the wheel well. I had to put the 3mm spacer on the fronts to clear the caliper, so I'm assuming this is the reason it is doing that. I hate to see what it will be like when I get the coilovers on. I am wondering if anyone else has had the rubbing issue and how they fixed it. I don't want to remove or cut anything. If there is some way to just push it back a little, I'm down with that.
I snapped a few shots this morning. They aren't the best, but you get a good idear of how they fit on the car with no modifications outside of the wheels themselves. I think they fill out the wheel well perfectly and will look even better once I drop it down a little bit.

It doesn't rub a lot. There is just a few spots on the plastic that are raised up a bit higher than the rest of it and it hits that. Once I go beyond that point it doesn't rub anymore. If I get a chance I'll span a few shots of the "problem" areas.

This same thing happens to me when I turn the wheel all the way to the right...especially when I'm backing out of a parking space. If the wheel is at full lock they will rub on the front passenger wheel well, so I just try not to cut it all the way. I do not have spacers and my calipers have been shaved a few millimeters to avoid the rubbing issue.
So far so good...wheels look good and ride nice, just wish I didn't have to mess with the calipers.

I know that problem doesn't occur with a 255/35/18 due to the shorter side wall
is the plastic piece that it is rubbing on something that can be shaved down?
Yeah, it's right around full lock. Yes, it is the plastic piece. I'm going to look into shaving it down. It's not a huge problem, just caught me off guard when I was backing out of my driveway this morning.
Maybe lowering it will actually help because it'll place the wheel in the well more evenly? If that make sense? I've never put aftermarket wheels/tires on a car before, so I'm new to what the effects of all this are. I mean if you look at my wheel you can see the apex of the curve of the wheel or whatever is pretty much at the bottom of the wheel well. I dunno, we will see what happens.
Ok, so I turned the wheel a bunch to watch where they are rubbing. It's really not too far into the turn radius it starts to hit ever so slightly on the inner fender well. From the way it looks if I get a 1" or more drop on the suspension it should clear the part it's hitting. It is currently hitting the inner plastic of what would be the side skirt height I guess for a reference spot. Either way, it's not a huge deal, and I'm 99% sure that a suspension drop will take care of it. If I had the 35 sidewall height, there wouldn't be an issue at all.
So I installed my Megan street coilovers tonight and it didn't help the rubbing any, but the drop wasn't really all that much. I'm pretty confident that it's mostly due to the spacers I had to put on the wheels. I wish there was some way to get these to fit without the spacers.
