almost every wingless evo except for RS still have the holes from the spoiler.

Did you consider putting it on the wing itself like a gurney flap?

 

gurney flaps are much smaller from what ive seen, obviously it isnt the nicest piece but I like how it doesnt go across the entire trunk. I refuse to put the wing back on do to the lack of attention I get now. I will definitley take it off because some people dont like it

 

IMO it would look really good.....If it went across the whole trunk.

 

I've been wondering if the BMW lip would fit the EVO. I've been interested in picking up a lip spoiler just like this one.

Unfortunately, the gaps on each side are simply too much. If it covered the whole length of the trunk lid, I'd pick one up in a second.

 

is it even carbon fiber? or is the the carbon fiber "look" style that floats around on ebay?

i want close up pics of the weave (if there is any)

Its a great idea and cheap alternative.. But it just doesnt look good.. If those gaps on each side were 1/2" or less, it would look great.. But there not..
