Thanks for the positive feedback everyone. I'll be sure to post more whenever I do another shoot.

Yeah, every shot was taken with a tripod. A few of them were taken at ISO 400 because I had forgotten that's what the camera was set to, but most of them are ISO 100-200.

You might want to hold off on that 30D. Rumor has it that the 40D will be released in late September. That's what I'll replace my 300D with, hopefully.

Yep. It's supposed to be one of the most popular L lenses. Terrific value as far as L's go.

Thanks, but you're totally right. I never realized how old my 300D is until I shot with nothing but my friend's 350D for an entire month. The 350D is SO much faster in terms of write/load times. I couldn't believe it. Like I said before, though, the 40D should fix that, though the 300D will always be my backup .

No complaints here. Everyone was super nice and I didn't get a sense that they were trying to screw me over once I had established that I knew the Evo well. I wasn't planning on buying a car there and then ended up driving away in mine a few days later. Just make sure to show them that you know your stuff (particularly regarding how much Evos go for at South Coast and other places) and you should be fine.

Just tell me which you like and what your computer's resolution is and I'll be more than happy to upload some wallpapers. This goes for anyone else too.

Thanks, the shots at the hot dog place were taken right after I spent a few hours washing her. Unfortunately, I suffer from the same Mitsubishi paint woes as the rest of you, and it doesn't take long to see that she isn't brand new anymore up close .

Super Dawg isn't bad, but I have to disagree with you there. Gene and Jude's (Grand and River Road, in River Grove) absolutely DEMOLISHES Super Dawg IMO. Also, a dog and fries runs only $1.90 there. I strongly suggest you give them a try if you haven't already.

To everyone else who posted, thanks again.

Clean whip. It'd look a little better with a drop though but it's still very nice.

BTW, from past experience, if you leave those stickers on the dash, the sun will eventually cause the dash/door panels to fade unevenly if the stickers are ever removed.
