Mitchubishi: Work XT-7's on the car...with a catch... 56K warning
So I had some Work XT-7's on the car for a bit; size was 18X8.5 +32 with 245/40R18 tires. Yeap, key word there is had
. Once again I decided that it wasn't the right wheel and once sgain sold them to as a friend. They will be professionally powder coated black and will go beautifully on his BBY evo. Until then here a few pics of how it looked.
Ona side note, these had Proxes RA-1's on them and I can now say I don't know why people are so scared of an R comp like this on the street. If you have a mostly summer car that never sees rain, R comps are A LOT of fun once they are warmed up. I'm now running some RE-01R's on my 17's and I refuse to go to a higher treadwear than 140 for my 18's for next season...looks like I'm gonig to get either RE-01R's again or go ***** out for RA-1's again.

glad you got rid of the hideous wheels, and i love your attitude on tires. i would love to run AO48's on my car, but it's daily driven, and see's it's share of rain. i've been running RT-615's up until now. i swapped to Eagle F1 GS-D3's for equal dry/better wet performance. when i order my RE30's though, i'll likely go back to the 615's

Yeah the lugs were a temporary buy. I'll be getting a custom made set of Volk CE's again for next season. Until then I'm going to powder coat some BBS and clal it a day
.
ODUB: The RA-1's wern't too bad in the rain, but definately worse than advans and the such.
