Heat Shields

I have a Carbon Fiber Heat Shield and it isnt sitting flush against the contour of the bumber. I have seen pictures of what almost looks like a tac or a big rivet going around the half circlular shape. I am intrested in what people are using to secure it besides the screws behind the bumber going upwards but on the outside as well as looking clean and not just a screw head, any ideas or anyone using something that works well ?

I taped mine to the bumper. Measured and drilled holes. Then used a rivet gun.

what i did because i did not want to rivet up my bumper..... is first test fit it on then drill two holes where the cf heat shield meets at the bottom on the bumper... then double side tape it up....place it back on the bumper and screw in two screws into where you drilled the holes and it holds like a charm...and do not place the double sided tape to close to the edge or it will pop up and not sit flush... hope this helps you and this is how it looks without rivets [IMG][/IMG]
