Wingless or new wing? pics please
thanks for all the input, i love the wing i just hate everyone elses thoughts and remarks . That rexpeed c wing is pretty nice and a calm good look. For those who are saying its put there for a reason...have you actually expereienced driving an evo without one and with one? im just curious, not doubting
i have experienced an evo with and without the wing. even at high speeds on the highway id be hard pressed to feel a difference. its your car you like the wing keep it, f everyone else.

keep the wing on, these days most of the top manufacture like Porsche, Ferrari, Lambos, new Skyline, new Supra, even the new Honda S2000 CR are designing with wing on the vehicle, it is there for a purpose ! but if you feel the wing really bother you where you live, and having it removed makes your life easier, then go for it !
i hear you get better gas mileage wingless by a couple mpg's. it probrably doesn't do much until you're at very high speeds anyway. not sure, never tested it in a wind tunnel. if it's just a daily driver and not tracked often, probrably overkill.
Personally, I say keep the wing. For one, it completes the look and flows well, since sometimes going wingless makes the car look a little weird. Not to say wingless is bad or anything because it's not, but it doesn't look too balanced. For some reason, to me, white is the only color Evo that I personally think looks nice in wingless form. But if you want to do the sleeper look because you have a ton of mods and don't want to have any trouble with police, then wingless is for you.
dont worry about what other people think.... you own an evo! if you like the wing, then keep it! if you wanna get rid of it for personal reasons, then by all means, do so! but dont let other people make up your mind!
personally (like my opinion matters).. i have a IX RS, and spent 3 months tracking down a wing, mainly because ive loved the evo since day one, and the wing is a part of the evo's history.... i like wingless evo's, but not nearly as much as i loved winged evos'
before the wing

and winged (id show more, but you know what a winged evo looks like
)

the EVO's wing isn't there for asthetics. it's for purpose. function over fashion. but in this case, it's functional, and it looks good
RS is supposed to be the competition version of the Evo. The first thing any serious competitor is going to do is change the wing to whatever works within the rules of their governing body. So no need to put one on if the first thing that is going to happen is to have it taken off.
