If they were that wealthy than the father would just give him the evo and not ask for his bmw plus cash. It's bs until he can prove otherwise.

when it produced 800, wasnt a 35r. made 500 + on a 35r. turbo was custom built. secondly its not in ct, ny. here a pic of the engine bay of the sti tuned by Robert Bonamici @ Automaster of Westchester, i will post pics of the evo miles if seriously interested but heres the evo as well. Now i aint bs'n no one. Just need some opinions.

800 STi: http://www.iwsti.com/forums/showthre...ght=automaster

here are some pics:

Evo: sorry for the bad pics, these were taken with the camera phone a while ago, its still the same way.

Now idk what you guys are thinking but im not kidding or anything and was interested in what you guys think. please let me know appreciate it.

Regardeless of the STi and the pics. All im interested in who would give up there fully loaded bimmer and cash for a roll up windowed evo 8 with 500+ hp. Thankyou

If you have to ask if a 500hp Evo is right for you, then I absolutely guarantee that is not for you. Keep the Bimmer.

I would also look into different intercoolers on both of those cars, not feeling the DIY look.

I agree with reeferman - if you have to inquire about whether or not a 500 whp evo is going to be better than your Bimmer, it's not the right car for you. I have an RS that makes mid 400 whp, and I love it, but then again I knew what I was getting into when I bought the car / did the mods. I didn't have to come on here and ask people if it would make me happy...

Anyhow, you asked for pics, and I have a few threads with some shots of my Evo 8 RS if you'd like to see:

It's good you proved this wasn't a bs thread, as far as your question goes I would do the trade. But you have to understand that having a highly modified Evo will not be the same as having a regular car. There is more maintanace and sometimes things break. It's just the nature of the beast when running a highly modified vehicle.

Do what you want to do but in my opinion I say stick with the BMW. I had an evo and I crashed it. Yes I have saved up enough to get it rebuilt but I know that my stock evo was too much for me. I learned this the hard way. Plus you aren't going with a stock evo, it is highly modified. 500whp for us youngsters is way to much. I am not saying you can't handle it, but I am suggesting you stay on the safe side and not get yourself killed.

Thank you, and I know for sure what im getting into. Its not that io cant decide what I want. I know i want it, but there is the fact of breaking it, insurence andI just wanted to know what your opinion is on the topic. Ive driven the car around and it is insane and a sh*tload of fun everytime. I just wanted to know because the bimmer is stock and i want to do stuff to it, but hell. The evo is just so sick and itd be a waste of money to me. So I think that I will go for the trade as of now. Once we get it running. I will sure to be posting and more and be showing you guys whats up since ill have an evo. Thanks all

Seems like you're pretty set with your power windows... just keep the bmw, I don't think anyone wants to see a thread on here of a "roll-up window" evo around a tree...

How old are you anyway? You sound young.

They are 2 different cars. If you're looking for a car to get panties thrown at you, keep the bmw. If you're looking to get boxers thrown at you, take the evo.

But in all seriousness, girls love evos...
