Question HELP with C-WEST front bumper and Buschur "RACE" Intercooler

Hey guys, I recently purchased a genuine C-West front bumper from one of the local EVO guys. He was running it with an ARC intercooler with no problems. Well, I get home last night and try to bolt it on my car and my Intercooler is way too big.

The inside part of the bumper which surrounds the intercooler is hitting the intercooler, due to the intercooler being too wide and long. I'm currently running a Buschur "RACE" FMIC (the big one) My question is; does anybody have this bumper and FMIC? If so did you have a body shop just trim the inside of the bumper so it sits flush on the intercooler? Any input from anybody running a C West front bumper and aftermarket intercooler would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance...

Does the C-West bumper require you to remove the crash beam?

I ask because i know the Buschur Race can be squeezed behind the crash beam so if the C-West bumper allows for the crash beam it should technically fit.

EDIT: Found out you do have to remove the crash beam. You're probably going to have to get out the scissors.

Just called him. He actually ha d a replica c west so I do not know how true this will be with the rela deal but, he said once you put the bumper up to the race fmic you will see where you have to alter the bumper. He said he use a dremmel and just shaved enough out of the bumper to make it all work together. I do not thinkg he had a front crash beam in the car at the time as well.

Thanks for the help Nick. I see exactly where it's touching. I took it to the body shop this morning and he said he would make it look perfect. I will post pics when It's finished so you guys can see the end results. BTW, the front crash beam is already out of the car. You can use the crash beam with the C-west, but it takes A LOT of crash beam modifying. Thanks again
