Everybody thought they were a drag racer, then everybody thought they were a drifter, now everybody thinks they're a time-attacker.

if you look siebon also makes headlight ducts which will probably knock off a lot of front end weights over even an evodave one

i think you will have a hard time finding the pics you want unless you e-mail the vendors themselfs so that they can go into their garages and take pictures for you...

all that i can say is after seeing the inside door panel of the cyber evo, the ams evo is way more extreme, when i got a ride in it, they warned me not to hold onto the doors because they would fall off!

also i dont know if its just me or what but arent those like 3 different cyber evo's?? how many cyber evo's are there???

At least people are going in the right direction...
to the OP: I wasn't bashing you at all, I was just trying to let you understand that you will have much more fun starting off with a stock car and working your way up, than just starting with a fully built race car. It sounds like you've got pretty cool plans for the car, and I'm interested to see how it does. If it were me, I'd focus on the suspension first (most important piece IMO besides the driver) then think about power/aero. Get some practice driving a AWD car on a road course and pick the brains of other drivers. You'd be surprised how many would actually help you out. Start hanging out in the Motor Sports/Tires&Suspension forums to get to know the basics a bit more...let us know how it goes.

I may be able to get you some good pics of the AMS car, a buddy of mine is one of their drivers, so I'll see what I can't get in the next few days.

Ah i gotcha, I plan taking it slowly but probably wont be starting off with a stock evo. Im thinking if me n my father take up the project with will start with somewhat minor upgrades, suspension n aero. THEN go into major performance once we learn the cars limits.. But the final plans for the would be to go ALL out.

Now a question i have is do the time attack cars have powersteering or no?

Also wheres those pics

Not too sure about the power steering...my guess would be that various teams use different setups. As far as suspension goes, you could buy $12,000 4-way Moton coilovers and be whooped by an evo on junky Teins...95% of the suspension is in the setup. To be the best, you must get the car corner weighted and then aligned by somebody who has experience with Evo racing. If you really plan on doing it right, you will have to go back and forth a lot as your car's weight and power levels change. Things like damping levels will have to be worked and re-worked numerous times.
