I don't like the the gaudy giant weave they are using as well as it being stick-on. If they were real replacement pieces done in a less in your face way, I would love to replace the cheaper looking plastic (door pulls, window switches etc.).

Um, the kit is a REAL carbon fiber overlay, it's not fake in the least, and it's not a sticker. THis is one of those $150-300 dash kits. It's plain as day, you can see the nice weave in those pics. Sticker? eh-hm, sorry. Does anyone know where to get this or similar kits? I am really trying to track one down for my evo. Would the normal Lancer one work?
I am also going to try and custom make a carbon fiber gauge bezel to replace my factory blue one with. i'll put pics up of that as soon as i get it done.

The weave on that kit looks horrible. Was it done by old ladies with threading needles or something? Seriously.

Just so you all get over your CF fantisies, there is really no "real" carbon fiber in the sport compact scene. They are all one layer CF over fiberglass or some other resin or even wood depending on where it is used. Yes it is one layer CF, but if it were what you guys are complaining it is not, you don't have enough money to buy it! The only place you find "full" carbon fiber is in high dollar race applications.

For instance, those carbon fiber hoods everyone buys for under $500,there is no way could you get one for less than $4000 if it were real race purpose carbon fiber. Do yo know the bodies on NHRA Funny Cars are carbon fiber? And they cost $50,000 each!! Carbon fiber tubs for CART or IRL cars cost $200,000 and they are a Carbon fiber, Kevlar mix. Real carbon Fiber brakes are $40,000 per set and you have to replace the pads after each run.

So quit already with the "it's not real CF" It is real as long as you know you are getting cosmetic carbon fiber. So lay off the poor guy. You aren't ever going to see a "real" carbon fiber dash replacement, so why make comments like that.

I would keep everythin.. Except the ones on the A/C vents and take off the one on top of the metal shifter(the circle aluminum thing) But everythin else could stay.. And that kit fits the regular Lancer.. Yeeaahhheey!

Still looks better then the cheap a$$ lancer plastic. I'd be willing to buy the replacement pieces. Please let us know when we can get them in the USA.
