Just burning the clutch!?

Happened at a Dodge dealer near me a couple years back and killed a customer, pinning him between the vehicle and building. It was bad. He was holding his kid as well but was able to toss him away before the car/truck hit him. Terrible.

I had worked for dealers for about 10 years and saw some really stupid porters. Some could barely drive, and alot couldn't even drive a manual.

I know Z06s can take off in 5th without stalling but I didn't know it can do it in 6th.

More to the story than that- the car would have stalled in 6th- at least if it didn't there would have been plenty of time for the person to realize that he was going forward and not back and definately not hard enough to go through the glass and over 2 curbs

I call that bluff

You would be surprised.....probably couldnt make the payments. My brother works at a Chevy dealership and a customer who bought a z06 traded it in 4 months later for a crossfire because he couldnt make the payments as well as insurance for it.

Uh, yeah...

That "story" is bull****, you can't take off that fast and not have time to realize you're moving forward to stop. Those cars are how long? And how far was it parked from a window? I call bs.

I did go test drive a suzuki (long ago) and it had the manual that you have to lift up on and push left to get it into reverse...well the salesman tried to let me move it (parked behind another car on a downhill slope) and I didn't know about the reverse so as I tried but to no avail. I said why don't you just do it so I don't hit the car...so he tried...he also didn't know that so he had to go inside inside and ask someone...this was a salesman...jeez.
