have a metal shop fab you a tubular crash beam. its really not expensive. much less than the Cusco brace...
you can find metal here (if you need it):
www.industrialmetalsupply.com
then just go to a welding/fabricator shop with your new bumper, and have them fab somthing up that will clear the IC, and work with the bumper.
also, iirc, the Cwest (real) bumper works with the OEM undertray, and the beatrush/carbing

I have the C-west and had the bumper cut around the beam because I wasn't willing to sacrifice it either. It actually came out looking really sharp. Sadly I don't have pictures YET but will be getting it back here in a week or two and will post up.

Voltex do not fit with USDM front crash beam. sorry
Matter of fact, None of the JDM aftermarket bumpers fit with USDM front crash beam because there's no such things as front bumper crash beam in Japan.
Just take that front bumper beam off and be a man about it. Kamikaze style!

Well I read that the bar is rated for 5mph. Can anyone confirm this. So yes maybe removing it might not be as bad as it sounds, hoping that in case of an accident the adjuster dont recognize the missing bar throughout the damage.
As far as the undertray, I hope that the bumper above can retain the undertray, I would assume that my engine stays cleaner and it provides an aerodynamic advantage.
I'm digging the bumper above and don't see anyone really running it. Want to do something different. The cwest, although played out, it is still a very aggresive piece nevertheless.
