ClayBar

For those who have used claybar, if i'm correct wash the car let it dry then spray a little bit of water to car and rub claybar on it applying to the entire car then wash teh car a second time ? is that right . It's really hot where i am does heat effect it that much to where it won't work properly . I'm thinking about buying Zaino Wax - Clay Bar product i have used their Car finish wax works excellent just going to take it a step further with the ClayBar . Advices and opinions are always welcome

i defnitly see a diffrence sometimes i put to much blackmagic on the tires and it spits up on the paint, and it will not come out with just washing it or wax, and the clay bar gets that off and the rear bumper gets dirty from the exhaust the clay bar takes it wright off

not really less scrathes just much smoother

well first off, don't just let your car dry after washing it, unless u like water spots. u can get a microfiber drying towel from autozone. as for the claybar, don't use water as a lubricant. either use a quick detail spray or you can claybar as you are washing your vehicle.

Most claybars include a spray quick wax that you are suppose to use, and lubricates better than water.

If you get the Mother's clay bar, there's detail spray bottle, clay bar and little bottle of carnuba wax. When I use it, I first washed the car, dried it. Spray the detail on and rubbed the clay bar on the car. Afterwards i just wax the car.

lol yeah if you read the directions on the mothers claybar it tells you that. it also says if you drop the clabar you should throw it away.

spent saturday 2 weeks ago claybaring my car. I mean the whole day. This past saturday, spend another 8 hours at least preping and waxing my car .

I use meguiars Gold Class car Wash, Smooth Surface Clay bar, Deep Crystal System Paint Cleaner, Deep Crystal System Polish, and finally Deep Crystal System Carnauba Wax.. Paint feels so smooth. Very happy with the outcome, but worked my *** off lolz
