I already tried installing the Cusco front power brace with my ARC intercooler, and it does not fit. Not even close. Only one it fits is the factory intercooler, and you may be able to modify it to fit an AMS (non race core) intercooler by using some washers to space it out.

 

Spacers wouldn't even get it to fit?

Nope Patrick. Believe me, I wanted to modify it in any way I could so I could get it to fit the ARC intercooler, but no luck....... the ARC intercooler is way too long. The AMS is pretty darn short.

 

Hmm, well we'll see if the Coltspeed is any different. I don't know which model of ARC they use or if they modify it at all so we'll see.

I wish someone made a v-mount setup for the Evo.

I'm glad you got the stuff all okay. Everything looks nice so far. Cant wait to see it all done with that new front bumper. I hope all that stuff will work out for you.

Also, I believe H22gordo might have been the one I talked to about that front power brace not fitting on ARC intercoolers. His information sounds familar.

I got my header and O2 housing on last night finally and the car feels amazing. Went into the body shop to get the C-West bumper and Nukabe tow hooks put on so I can't wait to get it back.

One bit of news, the C-West bumper does not fit with the Cusco front bar without modifying the bumper Between that and the intercooler coming soon I might be batting 100 on the Cusco front bar. Disappointing 'cause it's a very nice piece.
