it is a well known fact on this site that a kitten dies somewhere everytime you buy a poor fitting pos from accolade. Go search buschur and see what they did with their accolade piece.

even if someone were to reccomend accolade, it stil wouldnt fit your car. that kit is to convert and evo8 into an evo9. i doubt it would fit any other evo, besides the 7

Last time I was reading up on the lancer show and shine it was a kit made for the regular lancers to convert to the evo 9. The kit is not made for the evo wide body. IMHO Just buy a used evo 9 front.

Unless you have the money to burn, if I were you, I'd just wait until something happened (perhaps a parking lot incident or whatever) before replacing the bumpers.

And if you do have the money to burn, burn it on something better.

The JDM rear bumper is the only hangup. You should be able to find a used OEM front IX bumper for around the same price as Accolades, and since it's factory you know it'll be a billion times better.

JDM rears are expensive but trust me getting OEM is worth it, just save up! I have the OEM JDM rear and it has amazing fit and finish. It went on so smooth and easy.

Plus, you can buy the OEM front and rear bumpers color matched and essentially ready to bolt on. Any knockoff bumpers are going to have to be extensively fitted, prepped, and then painted which will cost in upwards of $400-500 (PER PIECE) or more to do properly, unless you want to have mis-matched body parts like a ricer Not to mention, despite their wording, the Accolade kit is made of FRP which is fibreglass. It's not nearly as flexible or damage resistant as the stock Urethane.

Just some food for thought. It may look like more money to go "the right way" and get OEM bumpers, but trust me, it saves a lot of headache and costs down the road to just do it right the first time and be done.
