fog lights: yellow or hid match?
I think some people are not feeling the 3000K because it's too Yellow.
I have the Kaixen 4000K HID kit and they're awesome. When looking at it head on, it's just clear white with a very little hint of blue in it. But if you look at the ground, there's a hint of Yellow. I would go with the 4000K option.

You get 3000K to get the yellow color. 4000K might as well be halogen which IMO is what you're trying to get away from...seems like 4000K just gets you extra bright stock (halogen)-looking fogs.
I can see the argument for 5000K-6000K Fogs as they'd colormatch nicely to the stock HIDs. I personally love the yellow but have contemplated changing them out for stock HID-matching.
Plenty of people dig the 3000K.

Well I have to disagree with you on your opinion about 4000K, but I respect your opinion. It's always different strokes for different folks.
Well I did say that some people aren't feeling the 3000K, I didn't say a lot. I like the 3000K too, but thought it was a bit too much.

mine is matching HID 8000k, here is the pic:

looks better after dark, yellow ones looks aight too, but for me just not bright enough.
BTW i will do the fog to 30000k pink color next week, just try to be different i guess, good luck!

4300-4500 is pure white light...once you start climbing the kelvin scale you WILL start losing visable light. I love trying to explain this to my moron friend that wanted a 12000k xenon kit for his truck and insisted that I was wrong...lol
If you're looking for function rather that aesthetics then the stock headlights work great with a yellow fog (~3000k) as the light waves will cut through the crap easier than a shorter wave length in an actual foggy situation.
Granted i'm all about having "useful" modifications, so do whatever you feel is best.
edit: speaking of yellow bulbs...on this other forum that I used to go to with my last car, some japanese guy had some really cool 3000k HIDs that he ran regularly, he said they were awesome in the fog...I think they'd annoy me over time, haha

Call here (866) 861-3784 and order Luminics JDM yellow, Nokya Hyper yellow, or check their website.... http://www.automotivelightingusa.com...ex&cPath=10_19

really NOT diggin' the purple. I'm not sure how you can call anything "rice" in comparison to this.
