I've had the Greddy Counterweight for the past year.

Even with the hot/cold weathers shifting never really bothered my hand until I started to rest my hand on the shift knob whenever I would start to cruise. If you just grab it and shift quickly then it'll be no problem.

I have the Tomei long shift knob it is light but doesn't affect the shifting to much. I just prefer it to the ball style. Sorry no pics yet I'm just too lazy.
