This was my first time shooting at the Shenandoah course, which, unlike the main course, doesn't have any good spots for panning due to the high concrete walls. Even with media credentials, the spots to shoot were limited.

I think every time you were on the course, I was moving around the track so I didn't get any good angles or shots. The Shenandoah course is probably my least favorite track to shoot at. There's only one good spot and they blocked it off after 2 o'clock due to 'safety' issues, even though in that section the cars are only doing 40 mph and the tire/concrete barrier is more than enough to prevent any harm to the photographers. After they closed it off, I left.

It's ok man no worries. With as many photographers as there were I'm sure plenty of pics will surface. Do you have the high res of the 2 of me though? It was tempting to wave to you guys since most photographers were by the slow throwaway turn.
